So day 5 I went to the Imperial Palace with Erick, his partner Shino, Aaron, Rieko and her boyfriend Naoto and Kenji. We walked around and me and Aaron were practicing our Japanese with Rieko who was practicing her English back. It was cool and fun and educational. Kenji likes jazz so I asked if there were any bars but he doesn’t know not much jazz bars in Kyoto. O well, then I went with Big Dan and Debbie and met Machiko in Sanjo. We went around looking at stores and kid of shopping but I didnt buy anything meh. We ate takosen which is takoyaki between waffer like things and sauce and shit. DELICIOUS!!!!! Then we walked around a bit more then we went to curry night at the keshikan where we live cause Mary, Noriko, Chris, Brodie and Roy were cooking (They are the staff and student interns of the trip). After that a group of us went to the river and met Machiko and Owen at the river and drank. It was a fun night that ended with me being Little Dan’s ojiisan ,grandfather, and Machiko his obaachan, grandmother. Machiko also is a zombie so she fucking bit me like 5 times crazy ass girl, but she is too much fun. I think Machiko may be my favorite person here to just have a good time with. Day 6 we walked all over Kyoto looking at shrines and castles. Nijo-jo, ginkakuji, walked through Gion and took pictures with fake geisha. It was a 9 hour fucking adventure. Then went over to Shijo and played in an Arcade with a group of us and Chika. We then went to eat okonomiyaki and drank melon soda, both are the gods’ gifts to humankind. It was late so we separated some of us went to drink at the imperial palace with Yuka and after that night ended it was fun though chill as hell and chaotic at the same time. Today i’m going around Kyoto with Jeremy, Masa, Yo and my lunch partner Yuka. I may go to kaiten-zushi ahead of time with the group thats going karaoke which I really want to do but I made plans so I should stick to them.
